Mitel SIP-DECT Phones (models 612, 622, 632, and 650) are provisioned using either the MiVoice Business System Administration Tool or MiVoice Enterprise Manager. See SIP Phone Support - Programming for instructions on MiVoice Business programming.
Covered below are the summary steps for provisioning the Mitel SIP-DECT system (server and base stations). Refer to the Mitel SIP-DECT system documentation on the Mitel Document Center web site for more detailed information.

The following are the basic programming steps required to interconnect Mitel SIP-DECT and MiVoice Business systems.
Only the SIP setup is covered. Basic system setup and network configuration, which precedes the SIP setup, are covered in the Mitel SIP-DECT documentation.
The SIP parameters are configured using either the Open Mobility Manager or the web- based configuration tool.
Only non-site specific configuration is addressed. Each installation will have its own configuration based on site specific requirements.
Basic Settings
Under System > SIP Basic Settings, enter the IP address or host name of for your Proxy server and Registration server.
Under System > SIP RTP settings, enter the preferred order for the codecs you require.
All other SIP settings will need to be set according to your installation environment.
NOTE: The Single Codec Reply in SDP option should always be enabled to achieve proper interoperability.
Advanced Settings
Under the System > SIP Advanced settings, enable Explicit MWI Subscription
All other SIP settings will need to be set according to your installation environment.
Individual Extension Setup
Under DECT Phones > Users create a user and under the General tab enter the users Name and number of the users SIP extension. Leave all other fields blank.
Enter the SIP information for the new extension under the SIP tab. The extension number can be used as the Authentication user name. Enter the Authentication password. This information must match the information configured in the Multiline IP Sets form in MiVoice Business. If there was no authentication information entered in form, leave the fields blank.
Conference Setup
To use the Mitel SIP DECT handsets as a conferencing host with an external conference server (e.g. MiVoice Business):
Under the Conference tab, set the Server type to External - Blind Transfer
In the URL field enter the Conference Call Feature Access Code. This code must match the MiVoice Business in order for conferecing to work.
Program the conference feature on SIP-DECT.
The conference modes can be configured globally for all SIP-DECT users or for individual users.
For global configuration, use the System > SIP > Conference tab.
For individual user configuration, use the DECT Phones > Users > Conference tab.
